Zalipher and the Vanishing Color of Karalasia is a timely allegory for the recent COVID-19 pandemic, purposed to more accessibly explain the start and spread of disease and the events of the last several years to children. The book features creatures with different perspectives and approaches to the pandemic and highlights the value of the hardwork and sacrifice by the medical community to end it.
